Head

At first glance, our bodies are remarkably similar. We all share the same biology: the same organs, the same physical needs, the same vulnerability. We eat, sleep, breathe, and age in much the same way. Yet what distinguishes us is our mind. Every person carries a different way of understanding the world, shaped by experience, culture, memory, and imagination.

In Heads, identical ceramic bodies are paired with entirely different heads. The sculptures suggest that while our physical existence is fundamentally shared, our thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions create countless individual realities. The body is common ground; the head is where difference begins.
